Well, I thought "sweet bananas" would be a great generic phrase for this blog for a few reasons. The first reason is that our children are kind of short and curved and a bit yellow, like sweet bananas. (Well, maybe not yellow... or even curved... I guess just short.)And I hope to share tidbits about our children here on this blog.
The second reason is there are nifty little things that happen in any given week that are worth sharing, that might have the significance of one sweet banana in any given day. These often don't make it into my bi-monthly emails, and it will be nice to have an outlet for those tidbits.
The third reason is simple. Our family eats a LOT of sweet bananas. And that is that.

Yeah for keeping in touch through your blog! I miss seeing you and your kiddos growing up! Now it'll be easier to picture where you are and what you're up to.
My first thought on your blog name was maybe a reference to your children being monkeys. We call the boys monkeys all the time because they are wild and crazy and climb on everything! And they're sweet, too!
